The Future of Business is Integrated: Odoo New Launch, ERP, CRM, and Why Odoo Anything?

In the fast-evolving world of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), the "monolithic" software of the past is dying. Businesses no longer want rigid, million-dollar systems that take years to implement. They want agility, intelligence, and integration.

With the recent launch of Odoo 19 and the buzz surrounding the upcoming Odoo 20, the platform has officially moved from being a "challenger" to the gold standard for modern SMEs and enterprises alike.

What’s New? The Odoo 19 Revolution

Odoo 19 isn't just an update; it’s a complete rethink of how AI interacts with your daily tasks. Here are the game-changing features:

AI-Powered Server Actions: You can now automate complex workflows using natural language. No more writing custom code; just tell Odoo what you want it to do.

The "ESG" App: In 2026, sustainability is a requirement. The new ESG module tracks your carbon footprint and helps with CSRD compliance automatically.

Mobile-First Accounting: A completely revamped bank reconciliation tool allows finance teams to manage the books entirely from a smartphone.

CRM: More Than Just a Rolodex

Most CRMs are just fancy spreadsheets. Odoo CRM is a sales engine. By integrating directly with your marketing and accounting, it offers:

Lead Scoring: AI analyzes your win rates to tell your sales team exactly which leads to call first.

If you’re asking "Why Odoo?" instead of SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle, the answer boils down to three words: Scale, Cost, and Joy.

Why IT leaders in 2026 are trading "Feature Bloat" for "Rock-Solid Basics."

1. The End of SaaS Bloat

For years, the IT strategy was "There’s an app for that." In 2026, companies are realizing they have 200 subscriptions and only use 10% of the features. The market is shifting toward the "Forever Stack" investing in core tools that are flexible, open-source, or owned outright rather than rented forever.

In the IT world right now, companies are tired of paying for 50 different monthly subscriptions (SaaS fatigue) and hardware that slows down after two years. The new market trend is "Hard-Wired Reliability."

2. Hardware Longevity as a Service

We are moving away from the "Replace every 3 years" cycle.

The IT Angle: CTOs are now prioritizing modular hardware (like Framework laptops or repairable servers).

The Shift: In 2026, a "good" IT department isn't the one with the newest gadgets; it's the one with the highest uptime and the lowest e-waste. It’s about buying the "over-specced" machine once, rather than the "cheap" machine three times.

3. "Quiet Tech" vs. "Loud Tech"

"Loud Tech" is full of notifications, constant updates, and "beta" features that break your workflow. "Quiet Tech" (The Buy-Once mindset) is software that does one thing perfectly, doesn't require weekly patches, and works offline.

The Forever Stack

The "Rent" Trap In the early 2020s, everything became a subscription. We stopped owning our software, our storage, and even our hardware. But in 2026, "Subscription Fatigue" has hit a breaking point. IT budgets are leaking money into "Ghost SaaS"—tools that no one uses but everyone pays for.

The Solution: Investing in "Hard" Assets The most advanced IT teams are now looking for the "Buy Once" equivalent in tech. They are looking for:

Local-First Software: Tools that work regardless of whether a server in Virginia is down.

Modular Infrastructure: Hardware where you can swap a processor without throwing away the whole chassis.

Open Standards: Choosing tools that don't lock your data into a "walled garden."

You might have a "Champion" who loves your product, but the person who actually kills the deal is the one you never meet, the Skeptic-in-Chief.

The Problem: The "Happy Ears" Trap

Most salespeople suffer from "Happy Ears." They have a great demo with a manager, the manager says, "This is exactly what we need," and the rep marks the deal as 90% closed.

The Reality: That manager now has to go into a closed-door meeting with a CFO or a Head of IT who is incentivized to say "No" to save budget or reduce risk. If you haven't sold to that "Shadow" person, you haven't sold at all.

1. Identify the "Shadow" Roles

To win, you must understand the psychology of the people who aren't in the room.

The CFO (Economic Buyer)
Motivated by ROI and cash flow. Biggest fear is sunk cost and shelfware—paying for a tool that never gets fully used.

The CISO (Security Gatekeeper)
Focused on data integrity and risk reduction. Biggest fear is a public data breach or failed integration.

The Legal Lead (Compliance Owner)
Driven by compliance and contract safety. Biggest fear is regulatory fines or hidden contractual risks.

The End User (Adoption Influencer)
Cares about ease of use and productivity. Biggest fear is a tool that adds complexity instead of reducing work.

2. Strategy: Selling Through Your Champion, Not To Them

Since you aren't in the final budget meeting, your Champion is actually your Proxy Salesperson. If they aren't equipped to handle objections, the deal dies.

The "Internal Champion Kit"

Instead of sending a generic PDF brochure, give your champion a "Battle Box":

3. The Math of the Deal (The Value Equation)

To win over the Skeptic-in-Chief, you have to move from "features" to "financials." You can explain the value of your product using a simple logical framework:

Projected Benefit: Not just "it's faster," but "it saves 400 man-hours per month."

Total Cost: Implementation time + Subscription + Training.

Risk of Inaction: The cost of doing nothing (e.g., "If we don't fix this, we lose $10k/month in lost leads").

4. The "Pre-Mortem" Tactic

This is the most "good" (advanced) part of the strategy. Before the deal goes to the committee, ask your champion this:

"Imagine it’s six months from now and the board has rejected this proposal. Why did they say no?"

Their answer will reveal exactly who the Skeptic-in-Chief is and what their specific objection will be. You can then address that objection before the meeting happens.

Why a Custom CMS Might Be Better Than an Off-the-Shelf Solution

In today's digital-first world, selecting the right Content Management System (CMS) is more than just a technical decision; it's a strategic one. Many businesses turn to popular off-the-shelf solutions like WordPress, Shopify, or Joomla for their ease of use and quick setup. However, these ready-made platforms often fall short when it comes to flexibility, scalability, and meeting unique business needs. This is where a custom CMS can stand out.

Understanding CMS Options

A CMS helps users manage digital content without having to code everything from scratch. Off-the-shelf CMSs offer pre-built tools, themes, and plugins to get started fast. On the other hand, a custom CMS is designed from the ground up for a specific business, making it more adaptable to unique workflows and long-term goals. Off-the-Shelf CMS: Pros and Cons Advantages: Quick deployment

Lower upfront cost

Large community support

Access to pre-built themes and plugins

Drawbacks:

Limited customization

Performance issues with too many plugins

Security vulnerabilities

Difficult integrations with other systems

One-size-fits-all approach may not scale

Off-the-shelf CMSs are ideal for simple websites, blogs, or small-scale eCommerce setups, but they can become limiting as your needs grow more complex. Why Choose a Custom CMS?

Tailored Functionality A custom CMS is built to support your exact content types, user roles, workflows, and integrations—nothing more, nothing less.

Unique Design & UX Custom CMS allows complete control over how the website looks and feels, offering a better user experience and stronger branding.

Seamless Integrations Need to connect your CMS to CRMs, ERP systems, or internal tools? A custom solution can be built to work smoothly with existing software.

Scalability As your business grows, a custom CMS can evolve with you. You won’t be held back by limitations or plugin dependency.

Security Custom CMSs are less targeted by hackers and can follow best security practices tailored to your infrastructure.

Cost Comparison: Custom vs. Off-the-Shelf Upfront Costs: Custom CMS requires a bigger initial investment in design and development. Long-Term Savings: Less reliance on plugins, lower maintenance, and fewer compatibility issues mean lower costs over time. ROI: Custom CMS often leads to better performance, reduced manual work, and improved user engagement, translating into a higher return on investment. Which One is Right for You? Ask yourself:

Do I need specific features that existing platforms don’t offer?

Will my content structure or workflow evolve over time?

Do I require strong integrations or custom business logic?

Is branding and unique UX a top priority?

If the answer is “yes” to most of the above, a custom CMS may be your best path forward.

Conclusion

Off-the-shelf CMS platforms are convenient and cost-effective in the short term, especially for smaller projects. But if your business has complex needs, values performance, or wants a tailored digital experience, a custom CMS offers unmatched control, flexibility, and long-term value. It’s not just about building a website; it’s about building a digital foundation that aligns with your business goals and scales with your growth.

Introduction: The AI Efficiency Race

In 2024, the AI landscape is dominated by giants like ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), and Gemini (Google). Yet, a new contender, DeepSeek, is gaining traction for its unique focus: delivering high-performance AI with minimal power consumption. For tech companies building apps and websites, efficiency isn't just a buzzword it's a critical factor in reducing costs, meeting sustainability goals, and scaling solutions. Let's unpack how DeepSeek stands out and why developers should take note.

DeepSeek: Built for Efficiency Without Compromise

Developed by a team specializing in lean AI architectures, DeepSeek prioritizes energy efficiency while maintaining competitive performance. Recent updates highlight advancements in:

Model Optimization: Techniques like quantization (reducing numerical precision) and pruning (trimming redundant neural connections) cut computational demands.

Hardware Synergy: DeepSeek's architecture leverages specialized chips (e.g., TPUs/GPUs) for faster, cooler operations.

Task-Specific Tuning: Unlike general-purpose models, DeepSeek offers modular setups, allowing developers to deploy only necessary components, slashing power use.

Key Fact: Independent benchmarks (source: AI Efficiency Report, 2024) show DeepSeek uses 40-50% less power than ChatGPT-4 in comparable inference tasks, with negligible accuracy trade-offs.

Why It Matters: For startups and scale-ups, DeepSeek's cost and energy savings enable leaner cloud budgets and greener deployments critical in a market where margins are tight and sustainability is a differentiator.

Implications for Tech Teams

Cost Reduction: Lower power consumption translates to cheaper cloud bills. Training a mid-sized model on DeepSeek reportedly costs $120K less than equivalent GPT-4 setups (source: DeepSeek Whitepaper, 2024).

Edge Deployment: Efficient enough for edge devices (e.g., IoT, mobile apps), enabling real-time AI without hefty server reliance.

Sustainability: Aligns with ESG goals reducing carbon footprints appeals to clients and investors.

Case Study: A fintech startup using DeepSeek for fraud detection cut server costs by 35% while maintaining 99% accuracy, citing seamless API integration' and predictable scaling' as key wins.

Challenges and Considerations

Ecosystem Maturity: DeepSeek's tooling (libraries, community support) lags behind OpenAI and Google. Early adopters may face DIY troubleshooting.

Niche Limitations: For highly complex tasks (e.g., multimodal generative AI), Claude or Gemini might still outperform.

Verification Needed: While internal benchmarks are promising, third-party validation of efficiency claims is still emerging.

The Future of Efficient AI

DeepSeek signals a shift toward pragmatic AI balancing power, cost, and performance. As hybrid cloud-edge architectures grow, expect demand for models like DeepSeek to surge. For developers, the message is clear: Efficiency is the next frontier.

Conclusion

In the race to dominate AI, DeepSeek carves a niche by prioritizing what tech teams need most: scalability, affordability, and sustainability. While it may not yet dethrone ChatGPT or Gemini for all use cases, its energy-efficient design makes it a compelling choice for companies building the next generation of apps and websites.

Flutter is a free and open-source UI framework that was released in 2017 and originally developed by Google. Flutter enables developers to create cross-platform applications using only one codebase. It is a fantastic tool for developers as it can drastically accelerate app development, reduce costs, and make cross-platform app updates easier.

Pre-installation Requirements

Windows 10 operating system installed (Flutter will work on Windows 7 and later versions).

At least 1.65 GB of free disk space (Additional free storage is needed for other tools and IDEs, if not already installed).

Windows Powershell 5.0 or newer.

Git for Windows version 2.0 or newer (Optional).

Android Studio installed.

Visual Studio 2022 with C++ (Optional).

How to Install and Configure Flutter SDK on Windows 10

After meeting all requirements, you can begin installing and configuring Flutter SDK. You will be installing a fixed installation of Flutter SDK, without using Git.

Step 1: Download Flutter SDK

Download the Flutter SDK package by clicking on the following button on the webpage.

Step 2: Extract the Files

Extract the downloaded zip file and move it to the desired location you want to install Flutter SDK. Do not install it in a folder or directory that requires elevated privileges, (such as C:Program Files) to ensure the program runs properly. It will be stored in C:developmentflutter.

Step 3: Update Path Variable for Windows PowerShell

Next, you need to update your Path environment variable to run Flutter commands in Windows consoles PowerShell and Command Prompt (CMD). First, click the Start button and type to search for and then click on Edit environment variables for your account.

Under User variables, click on and highlight Path. Click Edit.

On the next screen, click New and add the full path to your flutterbin directory. For this guide, it is shown below. Click OK on both windows to enable running Flutter commands in Windows consoles.

Step 4: Confirm Installed Tools for Running Flutter

In CMD, run the flutter doctor command to confirm the installed tools along with brief descriptions.

C:Usersnikhil>flutter doctor

Five Useful Laravel Blade Directives

Laravel is an open-source PHP framework designed to make developing web apps easier and faster through built-in features. These features are part of what makes Laravel so widely used by web developers:

But in this blog, We're going to look at five Laravel Blade directives you can use to simplify your templates, and learn about some convenient directives that make solving specific problems a cinch! If you're new to the framework, these tips will help you discover the excellent features of Blade, Laravel's templating engine.

1 : Check if the user is authenticated

When checking if the user is authenticated, you could check if the user isn't null:

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighter@if(auth()->user())
// The user is authenticated.
@endif
2 : Check if the user is a guest

The inverse of the authentication, we can check if the user is not authenticated using the guest() method on the auth helper:

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighter@if(auth()->guest())
// The user is not authenticated.
@endif
But Laravel also provides a @guest directive:

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighter@guest
// The user is not authenticated.
@endguest
We can also combine those two directives using the else statement:

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighter@guest
// The user is not authenticated.
@else
// The user is authenticated.
@endguest
3 : Include the first view if it exists or includes the second if it doesn't

Building a website with multiple themes might require including a file if it exists or including another one if it doesn't, you can easily achieve this with simple blade conditions:

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighter@if(view()->exists('first-view-name'))
@include('first-view-name')
@else
@include('second-view-name')
@endif
There is a shorter and a much cleaner directive for including the first found template:

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighter@includeFirst(['first-view-name', 'second-view-name']);
4 : Include a view based on a condition

Conditionally including a view based on a condition is useful when you only want to add content based on logic like an authenticated user.

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighter@if($post->hasComments())
@include('posts.comments')
@endif
We can more cleanly include a view based on a condition with the ‘@includeWhen' directive with one line:

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighter@includeWhen($post->hasComments(), 'posts.comments');
5 : Include a view if it exists

If you have custom themes system or you dynamically create your Blade views, then checking if the file exists a mandatory thing to do.

Calling the exists method on the view helper will do the trick:

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighter@if(view()->exists('view-name'))
@include('view-name')
@endif
But it turns out there is a simple way of handling this using the ‘includeIf' Blade directive:

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighter@includeIf('view-name')

Sage 9 from Roots is an awesome way to build modern, fast WordPress themes with a great developer experience.

Adding support for Woocommerce to Sage 9 is really easy, using a package from Roots themselves and a couple of simple steps. Contact us for more information.

Add sage-woocommerce from Roots

First up, we need to add a package from Roots that enables Woocommerce template files in the Blade templating engine.

The repo for the package is located at https://github.com/roots/sage-woocommerce, and please check out the install instructions there if anything is unclear. Plus, we'll need some code from the repo in the next step.

First, change directory into your theme folder;

(Replace the path with your correct path)

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlightercd .../my_wordpress_site/wp-content/themes/mytheme
Then require the package

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlightercomposer require roots/sage-woocommerce
That's the big part of the job done!

If you're interested in how this actually works under the hood to make Woocommerce & Sage work together, check out src/woocommerce.php in the repo.

Add the necessary template files

Due to some quirks in the way that blade templates work in Sage 9, it's necessary to override two Woocommerce template files to get everything to work.

The two files we need are

single-product.blade.php

archive-product.blade.php

Create the woocommerce folder in your theme

First, create the folder in which we will place Woocommerce template overrides, within your theme.

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlightermytheme/resources/views/woocommerce
Add the two Woocommerce overrides

Finally, download the two template files above and place them within this folder.

You should have

mytheme/resources/views/woocommerce/single-product.blade.php

mytheme/resources/views/woocommerce/archive-product.blade.php

Add woocommerce support to your theme

The last required step to make Woocommerce work with Sage is to add Woocommerce support to your theme.

Open up mytheme/app/setup.php

In the hooked function for after_setup_theme, add theme support for woocommerce by calling add_theme_support. (This will usually be near the theme support for Soil).

If you wan to remove the Woocommerce styles

Just add the following filter wherever suits you best (app/filters.php)

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighter// Disable woocommerce stylesheets
add_filter('woocommerce_enqueue_styles', '__return_empty_array');
And you're done!

Happy building with Woocommerce and Sage 9!

Sage is our favorite WordPress theme framework at Fresh because it is developer friendly, maintained by a community of developers, saves us time with automation, and doesn't ship unnecessary components. We at Akshar Group Technologies provide development of WordPress using the Sage theme framework. Contact us for more information.

Sage provides much better tools to help developers:

Follow best practices by default

Make fewer errors

Write more modular and maintainable code

Remove complexity

Save time

Sage is a WordPress starter theme based on HTML5 Boilerplate, gulp, Bower, Tailwind and Bootstrap, that will help you make better themes.'

Personally, my favorite aspect of Roots is its documentation. It is simple, yet effective:everything you need to know, from installation to ways of extending the theme. I found it extremely easy to pick up Roots my first time using it because the documentation was so intuitive.

Frontend Development Tools

Webpack to resolve all JS and CSS dependencies in your project and generate static assets for optimal performance

NPM for easily installing third-party packages and open-source JS libraries for development (many of which are listed below and are installed by default in any new Sage project)

ESLint and stylelint for identifying and reporting JS and CSS errors and deviations from conventions in your styles

Autoprefixer for automatically adding vendor prefixes to CSS rules

Browsersync for synchronized browser testing

Sass for maintainable and better-organized styles

Popular CSS frameworks like Bootstrap with ready-to-use classes

Backend And Theme Development Tools

Modern PHP and requirements

Better template file organization using a Model View Controller (MVC) design pattern rather than simply creating a bunch of template files in your theme root

Laravel's Blade templating engine making it easy to follow Don't Repeat Yourself (DRY) principles and practice template inheritance inside your theme template files

Sage provides an option to use Bedrock for configuration and plugin management and Trellis for local development and production servers.

Sage 9, you'll need a WordPress site running locally on PHP 7.1.3 or later to get started.

System Requirements

Once your local WordPress site is ready, installing Sage is pretty simple.

Sage 9, you'll need to be have Node.js version 8.0.0 or higher installed.

You'll need to download and install composer. Composer is PHP's dependency manager and it's used to install Sage.

You'll also need to install yarn. Yarn is an NPM client replacement that is required by Sage to install initial dependencies and also run the commands to build the frontend assets on your site.

Theme Installation

Once those requirements are out of the way, from the themes directory you'll run the following command to install Sage with composer, replacing your-theme-name with the name of your theme.

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlightercomposer create-project roots/sage your-theme-name

Then, You'll be able to choose a CSS framework. Sage comes with Bootstrap by default.

Once you've finished selecting all your options and Sage is installed, you can go to WP Admin to activate your theme.

You'll still need to complete a few steps in order to get your Sage theme showing in the browser.

You can do this by going to your theme root and running yarn. If you're familiar with NPM, you can think of this as the yarn equivalent of npm install.

Now, run yarn build to compile and optimize the files in your assets directory.

Theme Structure

The Sage theme structure looks a little different than your standard WordPress structure :-

Themes Core directories

./app This directory contains all the logic/magic in our theme including Controllers (which are located inside the controllers directory). There are normally 4 files inside this directory:

admin.php The main reason this file exists is to register the Theme Customizer. But if you have you Admin stuff (like your own options page), you can place your code here.

filters.php All the filters you use (such as modify excerpt text or ACF filters) should be inside this file.

helpers.php Contains all helper functions. You probably notice a function asset_path() here. This function is for getting the compiled resource file path.

setup.php Theme setup-related stuff, such as register menu location, register sidebar, register new image size

./config This directory contains theme (project) configuration such as a path to store stuff (compiled resources, compiled template, etc) Normally this directory is no need to be touched

./resources This directory contains the actual template stuff. We put things like SCSS, JavaScript, and Images inside the assets directory. and put template files inside views the directory.

./dist All compiled assets will be placed inside this directory.

./node_modules Store packages installed by yarn

./vendor Store packages installed by composer

Controller

The files in your app/Controller folder allow you to set up and organize data you intend to use in specific templates.

Styles

You can add styles by working within the .scss files in the resources/assets/styles directory, or by creating new files and importing them to main.scss.

You'll find some minimal styles and a few helpful instructions in the starter .scss files included with a new install of Sage.

The NPM registry is a repository of over 350,000 open-source packages that will save you tons of time.

USe them!

You can find an NPM package for just about everything. Using a lightweight library that just requires a little configuration or adding a few lines of code is extremely helpful when you need to create interactive or complicated UI elements.

Using a package is typically as easy as running npm install package-name or yarn add package-name where package-name is the name of your NPM package.

NOTE :- You should always install NPM dependencies from your theme root.

Views

The resources/views directory is for managing all your theme templates and presentation logic. You'll place any page, post, or archive templates here.

Inside views, you'll find a resources/views/layouts directory for managing base templates. Base templates are a wrapper used for each template. They can be called by any template and typically consist of the common components that appear on every page such as a header, container for the content of a page, and footer.

The resources/views/partials/ directory is where you place your template partials, or re-usable template parts responsible for presenting specific sections of your site.

Calling partials from templates is so easy there's really no reason not to.

Here's an example

The partial file, which lives in resources/views/partials, is named call-to-action.blade.php.

To call this partial in a template, you'd simply add this line of code:

@include(‘partials.call-to-action')

Work From Home : Are You Doing It Right ?

Figuring out how to work from home in a realistic, sustainable and profitable way has been one of my main goals since pandemic strikes our lives.And it hasn't always been easy.

There's been times when money has been short, stress has been

high, and the prospect of going to a real' job would keep me up at

night.

These days, however, I feel more confident with my setup and have

been happily working from home for the last one year And I know a

lot of other people want that too.

With the Covid outbreak, many companies are requiring employees

to work from home. It can be hard if you've never done it or haven't

done it regularly. But I'm a big believer in remote work and wanted

to share some of the things I've learned over the year.

Let's dive in!

You're going to have success, but you're also going to have a lot of

failures. A lot. Learn from them and make adjustments frequently,

For example, I recently reconfigured my entire home office and

refreshed my routines in April,2021 again after I joined my new

company. Be transparent with your friends, your team, and your

manager about what you're doing so you can find the best way to

be productive. Failure is part of your new work from home regime,

and I will always be experimenting with new approaches.

Define Your Divide

Being a productive remote worker requires discipline, especially if

you're trying to show that you're trustworthy and that working from

home isn't something for emergency situations only. In my

experience, the best trick is to find ways to divide your work

mode' and your home mode.

'Practice kaam k time kaam and break k time break' else day is

going to much more exhaustive ultimately lowering your

productivity

Achieving Long-Term Success

For many people, working from home is temporary. But what if you

want to make it a long-term option?

Commit and Deliver: You want this to work for you and your

manager and company. Show them that they can trust you, that you

will work hard, and that you can deliver on your commitments.

I know exactly how long it would take me to commute to the office,

and that's additional time I put in every week in my previous

organization

Engage Your Family

Work-from-home discussions often focus on an employee's relationship with their manager. But what about family? If you're new to working from home, understand that it doesn't just mean change for you. It also means change for your family. I have my gujarati talkative mom and very troubling younger sister at home. I'm surrounded by my family for most of the day, and over the years, we've developed tricks to make it work.

If you're new to working from home, understand that it doesn't just mean change for you. It also means change for your family too.

First, find the right balance between work and home. I have set work hours that I follow, and I make sure my family knows what they are. Every morning I sit with my mom and just discuss my day plan, If that changes during the day, I tell her right away. If she needs help with something with home chores.

Over time, I've gotten smarter about working and better at organizing my schedule'

Some Niche and Pro Tips :

1.Choose a Proper Home office

What is the best thing about working from home? Most

probably, the level of comfort.

But, do you know that this comfort can come at the cost of lost

productivity, focus and target goals? When the surrounding gives

you work vibes, your attention is bound to swoop in along with

your efficiency. To achieve that, all you have to do is-

? Choose a corner of your room with good natural lighting, if

possible

? Set it up with a chair comfortable to sit on, for around 8 hours

a day

? Place a desk next to it

? Put your system on the placed desk

? Keep your required materials like a diary, pens, a bottle of

water & a lamp, right by the side

2. Maintain consistent Working Hours

How often do you lose the track of time while working from home?

Almost everyday, right? This is an unhealthy practice. Being a

workaholic is good but within the working hours. You should

always make a routine of your workdays and working hours.If you plan on working for 8 hours straight on a workday,

Make sure you stick to your schedule

Set a Morning & Evening Routine

This is what the situation demands.

? Wake up one hour prior to your working hour

? Freshen up

? Have some tea/coffee

? Lay a mat on the floor

? Sit on it and fold your legs

? Keep your backbone straight

? Close your eyes

? Meditate for 5-10 minutes

Tada! It's done. Now you can kickstart your day off with a clear

mind.

3.Prepare a To-do list/Planner

Working remotely recommends you to keep track of how you spend every hour of your day. Self-tracking lets you understand when you are more productive and also, where you are wasting your time Creating a to-do list would allow you to keep track of your progress efficiently.

4.Make Ground Rules for family Member

We indian flow is this plot of tension lena ka nahi tension dene ka'

so chillax and it's going to work at the end as we say picture abhi baki

hai mere dost' Adding too much on the plate can make things hard.

All you require is

to-

? Create a task list for the day

? Estimate the required time to finish each task

? FOCUS

? Take a tea/coffee break in between to stimulate your mind

? Work until the end of your working hour

? Make a note of the tasks that are yet to be completed

So Relax & Chill!

Wrap up!

5.Interact with the Team

As you know Lack of communication can make you feel

For those who need a static site, there are some bootstrapping approaches available: 1) You can start by writing your own CSS file which requires little modification and doesn't have to be re-compiled from time TO TIME (I use grunt for this).

1. Tailwind Css

Tailwind CSS is a utility-first, front-end framework that helps you create modern-day websites without leaving your HTML. It has a variety of classes that help in creating any design, directly to the markup. It has Utility classes that assist in executing within the system limits. It is a customizable, low-level CSS framework that operates based on utility classes.

It has lesser stuff in the CSS bundle and all its utility classes are responsive in nature. It is a component friendly with which developers find it easy to create their own components. Since it is a low-level framework, you can create anything you want to. It becomes simple to create different looks even with the same combinations.

In Addition you can do much more with Tailwind CSS than Bootstrap.

2. Bulma

As one of the popular alternatives of Bootstrap, Bulma is a modernized CSS framework that is free, open-source, and offers competitive frontend components. It needs no prior knowledge of CSS framework and developers can easily create responsive web interfaces. It has a comprehensive flexbox grid, a wide range of colors and helps in building good-looking websites with ease.

Since it is designed with the mobile-first approach in mind, it is 100% responsive. It is modular in nature; you can import whatever you want to. It is considered one of the simplest grid systems. It is rich in components, modular, easy to learn, compatible, well documented, and constantly enhancing. Hence, it is sought after by developers.

3. Foundation

Foundation by Zurb is an advanced responsive front-end framework in the world. It is meant to be effective for any type of medium or device. It assists developers in creating beautiful responsive websites, emails, and apps that work well with any device. It is customizable, readable, and semantic in nature.

There are continuous updates available to garner the latest features of the Foundation. It has major components that a good frontend framework must have : grids, buttons, typography, and major UI fundamentals. It also handles HTML emails with effectiveness through Foundation for Emails.

4. Skeleton

Skeleton is a simple, responsive, lightweight boilerplate and a CSS framework. It consists of a 12-column fluid grid, consisting of rows and columns. It is built keeping in mind the mobile framework. It is easy to start and needs the least compilation. It is best for a small project since it styles only major standard HTML elements and considers a grid.

Whatever the screen size may be, Skeleton considers the layout as the major attraction. It offers basic components for the developer such as lists, forms, buttons, tables, etc. Its grid system fits all kinds of screens : small, medium, and large. There is automatic resizing of column width with a change in one line of CSS. The syntax is easy to implement and hence provides responsive styles in a simple manner.

5. UIKit

UIKit is a modular and responsive framework that is easy to use, and light-weighted. There are many UI components it has, that are either connected with HTML markup or JavaScript code. It can create pixel-perfect web layouts and powerful, fast web interfaces. It consists of a set of files with all major UI components like icons, fonts, design files, documentation, etc.

It offers interoperable CSS pre-processing with Sass or Less. There is an in-built icon library, and it offers support for right-to-left languages. It is quite a simple framework that has a few design components and developers can easily switch between components as needed. It lets the designers go by the modular approach for creating the applications.

5 Tips & Tricks of Laravel

Laravel is an open-source PHP framework designed to make developing web apps easier and faster through built-in features. These features are part of what makes Laravel so widely used by web developers:

But in this blog, we are going to learn the top most tips and tricks of Laravel so that we can use this in our development and make our development easier. So lets not waste any more time and lets gets started.

Tip 1 : $loop variable in foreach

Inside of foreach loop, check if current entry is first/last by just using $loop variable.

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighter@foreach ($users as $user)
@if ($loop->first)
This is the first iteration.
@endif
@if ($loop->last)
This is the last iteration.
@endif

This is user {{ $user->id }}

@endforeach

Tip 2 : Route group within a group

in Laravel Routes, we can create a group within a group, assigning a certain middleware only to some URLs in the parent' group.

Copy to ClipboardSyntax HighlighterRoute::group(['prefix' => 'user', 'as' => 'user.'], function() {
Route::get('login', 'UserController@login');
Route::get('register', 'UserController@register');
Route::group(['middleware' => 'auth'], function() {
Route::get('edit', 'UserController@edit');
});
});

Tip 3 : No timestamp columns

If our database table doesn't contain timestamp fields created_at and updated_at, so we can

specify that Eloquent model wouldn't use them, with $timestamps = false property.

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighterclass User extends Model
{
public $timestamps = false;
}

Tip 4 : Don't create Controllers for certain view

If we want route to just show a certain view, than don't create a Controller method, just use

direct Route::view() function on web.php file.

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighter// Instead of using controller this
Route::get('create', 'UserController@create');
// And this
class TextsController extends Controller
{
public function create()
{
return view('user.create');
}
}
// Do this on web.php file
Route::view('user', 'user.create');

Tip 5 : Blade @auth (user authenticated or not)

Instead of if-statement to check logged in user is authenticated or not, use @auth directive.

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighter//Using if-statement:
@if(auth()->user())
// The user is authenticated.
@endif
//Using @auth directive:
@auth
// The user is authenticated.
@endauth

You can upgrade your Magento application from the command line if you installed the software by:

Downloading the metapackage using

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlightercomposer create-project

Installing the compressed archive.

Do not use this method to upgrade if you cloned the Magento 2 GitHub repository.

The following instructions show you how to upgrade Magento using Composer.

Magento 2.4.2 introduced support for Composer 2.

If you are attempting to upgrade from Magento <2.4.1(below 2.4.1' for example 2.4.0, 2.3.9, …), you must first upgrade to a version of Magento that is compatible with Composer 2 (for example, 2.4.2) using Composer 1 before upgrading to Composer 2 for Magento >2.4.2 (above 2.4.2 version) upgrades.

Prerequisites to prepare environment before starting the upgrade process:

Check PHP and environment settings Verify that PHP and other environment settings are compatible with the system requirements.

Switch to maintenance mode To prevent access to your store while it's being upgraded, switch your store to maintenance mode:

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighterphp bin/magento maintenance:enable

Install the Composer update plugin The magento/composer-root-update-plugin Composer plugin resolves changes that need to be made to the root project composer.json file before updating to a new Magento product requirement.The plugin partially automates the manual upgrade by identifying and helping you resolve dependency conflicts instead of requiring you to identify and fix them manually.

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlightercomposer require magento/composer-root-update-plugin=~1.0 --no-update

Update the dependencies:

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlightercomposer update
Begin Update of Magento 2.

Backup the composer.json file.Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlightercp composer.json composer.json.bak

Indicate the Magento community edition packages and the version (2.4.0) that you want to upgrade to.

Magento Open Source:

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlightercomposer require magento/product-community-edition=2.4.0 --no-update

To see the full list of available 2.4 versions:

Magento Open Source:
Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlightercomposer show magento/product-community-edition 2.4.* --all | grep -m 1 versions

Example : Minor release:

Minor releases contain new features, quality fixes, and security fixes. Use Composer to specify a minor release. For example, to specify the Adobe Commerce 2.3.7 metapackage:

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlightercomposer require magento/product-community-edition=2.3.7 --no-update

Example : Security Patch

Security patches contain security fixes only. They are designed to make the upgrade process faster and easier.

Use Composer to specify a patch.

For example, to download the Magento Open Source 2.3.6-p1 metapackage:

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlightercomposer require magento/product-community-edition=2.3.7 --no-update
Apply updates.
Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlightercomposer update
Clear the var/ and generated/ subdirectories:
Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighterrm -rf var/cache/*
rm -rf var/page_cache/*
rm -rf generated/code/*
Then Update the Database and Schema:
Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighterphp bin/magento setup:upgrade

After, Setup Upgrade do di:compile this command is use for compile all necessary files and generate files .

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighterphp bin/magento setup:di:compile

Then after do content deploy command for deploy contetnt to magento

Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighterphp bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy
Disable maintenance mode:
Copy to ClipboardSyntax Highlighterphp bin/magento maintenance:disable

Word Press is a free and open-source content management system written in PHP and paired with a MySQL or Maria DB database. Features include a plugin architecture and a template system, referred to within Word Press as Themes.

Pros of choosing Word Press

User Friendly CMS:

Word Press is a strong content management system because of its origin in blogging. It is very easy for an admin to navigate through the backend of their Word Press site, edit pages and upload new content. Word Press makes it simple to organize content without a lot of website management knowledge.

Plugins:

There are lots of free and paid plugins available to Word Press users. These plugins allow you to customize and enhance any Word Press site. If you need to make specific changes to the functionality on your site, chances are there is a plugin to do just that.

Open source:

Word Press is an open source software and any one can use, study, change and redistribute its source code'.Many of the themes and plugins are free under the GPLv2 license and being an open-source software, Word Press programmers are able to openly share code online.

Pros of choosing Word Press

Updates:

Installing updates is important to the health of your Word Press site, but can be a nuisance if not done thoughtfully. Premium Word Press themes are updated and improved often. These updates are important to maintain proper security on Word Press websites. Updates may bring some small problems to a website in which case you may have to revert to an older Word Press state.

Speed:

Certain themes contain a lot of unnecessary generic code. This can decrease the speed of the site and cause slow load times. Without prior Word Press experience it can be hard to understand what code you need and what code you can do without.

Customization:

Word Press is a very flexible tool unlike many of the other drag and drop web builder tools out there. However, if you aren't a Word Press expert and you didn't have one develop your site, then this can be an issue.
